Tyler's first Singapore trip

We brought Tyler to Singapore on the 17th June 2010 when he was abt 7 and half months. Throughout the trip, I'd rate him 90% since he could follow us shopping all day long, but the deal was, we need to carry him and no stroller allowed :( During the flight, from Kuching to S'pore, he slept throught the take off, but he cried a lil during landing. I think it's normal due to the air pressure.

This is our one and only family pic taken by my lil bro-in law during lunch at Ajisen-ramen in Parkway Parade. Initially we wanted to have lunch there and off to Ikea to buy Tyler's high chair, but the plan was cancelled coz we couldn't wait to shop at that very minute :P It was Great Singapore Sale anyway. It really amaze me how cheap are baby hings sold in Spore. Imagine this... I've always use this bottle nipple brush from Pigeon, selling in Parkson cost RM 20.90 for 1 pc. So all the the I have to carefully use it coz no matter how delicate I use it, it wont last me longer than 1 month. Then in Spore, it was only selling at SGD $ 3.90. Well, even after conversion, I could buy 2.5 pcs with my money spen on 1 in Ringgit. Guess what? I bought all of it from 1 store (which was about 5 left on the shelf) hahahahha

Talking about buying suff, in Kuching I've searched high and low for good quality tweezers, I used to buy from Watson's in Kuching, however, starting this year onwards, I could find any!! even in Guardian or pharmacies, I even asked friends and cousin who traveled to KL to help me find, but to no avail. In S'pore there are plentiful! I bought like 6 or 7 pcs and it's much cheaper compared to M'sia. In M'sia its selling for like RM20 plus each, in S'pore only SGD $6.50. So tell me, why wouldn't I buy more, right?

Tyler here trying his first ice-cream, but he doesn't seem to like it, maybe it's too cold for him. He's been such a sweetie and he was able to drink his milk either indoor or taxi. But when we're back in Kuching, he'd now prefer drinking in the car.

We went to The Sands, on our 2nd day, early in morning at 8.30am coz we've got no where to go so early, plus shopping centres don't open till 11am.

Luckily Tyler was sleeping... when you're in a Casino, you would wanna visit the CASINO itself too right? So Tyler and I were waiting for hubby to please his curiosity towards the Sands Casino for 30 mins. hahahhahah When he came back, it's my turn!! I went in, looked around and it looked just normal, I don't have the "wow" effect. So, I tried my luck since I have about 15 mins before my time is up. I placed my bet on the roulette table and at the end of 15 mins, I won about SGD 150.00 yeayyy more shopping money for me!! It's an experience though.

We both bought Crocs shoes, it's not that cheap, but at least it has the latest designs that it'll probably take a decade to reach East Malaysia :P

Tyler got himself a pair of shoe + socks. It's something I've never seen, it's a socks with an attached sole to it. Since it's unique, I bought ti for him and he got this theory rather quickly. "one must bite new shoes in order for it not to bite us back" hahahahah there he is chewing his new shoe socks.

Brought him to Toys'r'Us...

Some of the time, he would allow daddy to carry him in the carrier but not on the stroller. That indeed helped a lot for my arms. When i was shopping for myself, I cant even try on the clothes, so I just grab any that I think is nice.

Overall, it was fun yet tiring to bring a baby along. However I don't think I could leave my child alone when I'm out traveling :)
