Pom Wawa

Do you know what's a Pom Wawa? It's crossed breed between a Pomeranian and a Chi Hua Hua.

My PomChi was born on the 19th July 2010 and we brought him home only last night. I would say he is quite well-behaved last night as he slept in his cage all through the night without making any noise. The only time he cried was when we put him in the cage after playing with him and he got 'over-excited'. He cried for like 5 mins and stopped and went to sleep. Brought Pom Wawa with us to office as well and he stay only in his cage. =)

Little Tyler woke up to a suprise; his very new buddy pup. He's happy of course, and didn't cry a single bit when he woke up. Pom Wawa seems to get along well with Tyler, he likes sniffing at Tyler's diaper and made Tyler a little uncomfortable and started to avoid Pom Wawa. This is a new beginning of a beautiful relationship. Pom Wawa is also meant for Tyler's first birthday present =)

10 mths

I know one day I will miss this moment when I have to carry him to sleep every night and day, lucky we have pictures and blogs to keep track of all the growing moments.

He loves bend his body like that, I really don't know why, perhaps he has some hidden acrobatic talents huh? Therefore it is very dangerous for people who don't know he loves doing this to carry him.

Another shot of him sleeping while sucking his thumb =)

My baby looked so grown up, how fast time flies ya... gonna miss every single bit of his growing...

Tyler's first swim at 10 & half months

Brought Tyler for his first dip in the pool yesterday and it took him 5 mins to warm up. He started to like being in the water once he's settled down and started kicking his legs. My baby boy is growing...

Took him swimming again today and he's enjoying it very much =)

Crabby Baby can be tamed =P

"Can you spot my two front teeth?"

Just a short update of my crabby baby of 10 months. This week, I managed to train him to sit on his baby chair while having meal, started on Tuesday, he made a fuss at first, then scolded him a bit and he behaved ever since =)

Today, I drove hubby's car for the first time and Tyler was on his car seat for the first time and he passed the 10 mins drive without struggling. Then on the way back from work, he survived on his car seat all through the journey to buy dinner and home. But this time, the drive was 45 mins, so he struggled a bit and cried a little, but I didn't pick him up at all. But the trick is to let him watch cartoons on the ride and some toys.

This is his "give up hope" face...

Eventually, he fell asleep since no matter what he does, mummy won't pick him up =) Yeayyy, mummy won!! hahahhaha
I'm so so proud of my spoil brat!!

A weekend with Mag

Mag came over for a weekend gateway and Tyler got to spend quality time with her and they were bonding very well. Tyler is exploring his new toy, bought by Mag, though I endlessly told her not to buy anymore things and she never listen.

Mag got to witness Tyler's first tooth sprouts, on the 14th Aug 2010, when he turned exactly 9 months and 3 weeks. He's irritated easily lately, probably due to his teething.

Like I've mentioned all the time, he's a crabby baby, now we found something to trap the "crab" hahahhaha, he actually kinda enjoyed being carried in the laundry basket. Perhaps this is his own-found "new toy" yet again, his "own-found" toys include remote controls; especially Astro's remote, my blackberry, mouse, magazines & etc...

Bonding with Aunt Ma-Mag

So, Happy Birthday my dear Best Fren =) I wish you all the love in this world! Muaksss

9 months

Tyler turned 9 months last Wednesday, and we brought him to The Spring to do our weekly grocery, and he finally was able to sit in his stroller throughout the shopping trip! hurraayyy Since he had never ever survive an outing with his stroller for more than half an hour. I'd say this is a progress, though he did struggled a little, but it's normal I guess.

When he's bored, he'll try to entertain himself, for example, putting his legs up. This is a cute pose and he was still smiling coz daddy was in the optical shop. He actually got bored not long after and got restless, so I had to bring him in and out of the store.

He then started to bite everything... He's really teething this time, I could feel something in his gum this time. I really hope when his first tooth sprouts, he won't get any fever, keeping my fingers crossed! I think his first tooth might sprout within this few days.

Tyler kept his legs up on the stroller bar throughout the rest of our shopping trip. We realized that he actually does things on his own, he doesn't seem to like to be told what to do. I hope he wouldn't be a brat in future.

Oh yes, on that very Wednesday, after our shopping, we enrolled him in Lodge School, some might think it's so early to enroll, but it's not. He has a confirmed place in Lodge, when we were told to pay the first term school fees. So we paid a total of RM 920.00 for his kindy. Another problem solve... need not worry about getting him into a school anymore, I think we'll just let him continue in Lodge till secondary school. Why bother sending him to government school when the education system is so unstable. Abolishing UPSR and PMR? How kids will turn out in future...? Blahh at least I'm not worried anymore.

At 8 and half months

Tyler at 8 and 1/2 months old can be classified as a rather hyper child. Why would I say so..? He can turn 360 degrees why you're holding him, he can play/ crawl/ run in my walker non-stop. He could never sleep more than 2 hours throughout the day.

However, he is a joy to be around with, giving you endless expressions, it's indescribable, only pictures to justify...

"mummy, please bring me out to play after I finish my meal..."

"..pretty pleaseeee, I promise to finish all my meals for the next 1 week..."

This is his suprised and puzzled look..

His constipated look...

His bath time look...
His fovourite word at the moment is "bak, bak, bak" I guess he meant that he wanna eat meat? Oh yea, for the record, if he eats something he likes or very nice, he will put his thumb in his mouth while enjoying the food in his mouth, therefore, we all guessed that he wanna keep the taste in his mouth for later use e.g when he is sucking his thumb while sleeping, he can still taste the food :P do you think so..?

Baby talk

A little update on my 8 months old baby, he is now very talkative, basically just baby talk and he can go on and on and on. Apart from that, he has the stability when he stands but he still needs to hold on to something and he's learning to walk a little too when he's supporting himself by holding on to the sofa.

In addition to that, he crawls pretty fast and smooth now and the greatest improvement was, he can now crawls up the steps. So, mummy and daddy now need to really keep our eyes very very close to him. He loves remote controls, especially the Astro remote control, perhaps because it's colorful, despite having countless toys parading in front of him for him to play. Oh yes, he also like playing with plastic packaging e.g wet wipes packaging?

My Splurge :D

These are my latest splurge, well, since they have promotions today, might as well, since these are my essentials. For the first time today, I have witnessed SK-II counter is more or less like a fish market, the sales ladies practically can't keep their mouth shut even for a second, serving customers and explaining the uses of the products. Tyler is not even bothered by the crowded small counter in Parkson, Kuching cause he was surrounded by ladies, all young and old who are adored by his cute face, he doesn't seem to mind the attention at all. Today's deal was, if I were to spend a total of RM1,400, I'd get a 19 pc gift set. Why not? Plus, I'd get additional gift vouchers and 5 times bonus link points. Since the deal was so great, there goes my card again... As soon as my turn came, I was told that the 19 pc gift set are finished! damn, I was a minute too late, but the sales lady was nice enough to give me the display gift set, and I could see the lady queueing behind me was a lil disappointed. Without hesitation, I was happy to take the display set.

These are my 19 pc gifts set :D isnt it a good buy? I know all guys out there will not understand the value of skin care products. Even my very own hubby will strike a heart attack on my splurge (it i was using his money la) but I'm using my own money, so he'll nag a little bit :P how often do I buy these anyway? Perhaps just once or twice the most in a year. Isn't it a good bargain? I guess so, since I don't really shop in Kuching.

This is a very happy me, for this week, having came back from a long deserving holiday + shopping, new gadget and a great deal at SK-II! hahahahahah

Mummy's new gadget

Today I got myself a net book, actually I've been eying for a net book for quite sometime, but never thought of buying it so soon on the spot, till this model attract my attention. Aspire One D260. All along, I'm a packaging person, I'd buy anything with nice packaging... All the net book I've seen was just the normal 1 tone colored net book, but this exceptional model comes in designs and it's ultra thin and this is the perfect one for me and cost only RM1,299.00.

Since having a lappie, what's the use of having it without any connection at home? So, we went to subscribed Maxis broadband and comes with a contract modem with 7.2 Mbps download capabilities. I took the 3g packaged at RM68.00 per month and boy... I'm so satisfied with this connection. Its faster than celcom for sure and it has lower interruption rate. I used to subscribe Celcom for the RM99 per month package and the connection sucks so much.

Now, with my new gadget, I guess I'm able to blog more often now.

Tyler's first Singapore trip

We brought Tyler to Singapore on the 17th June 2010 when he was abt 7 and half months. Throughout the trip, I'd rate him 90% since he could follow us shopping all day long, but the deal was, we need to carry him and no stroller allowed :( During the flight, from Kuching to S'pore, he slept throught the take off, but he cried a lil during landing. I think it's normal due to the air pressure.

This is our one and only family pic taken by my lil bro-in law during lunch at Ajisen-ramen in Parkway Parade. Initially we wanted to have lunch there and off to Ikea to buy Tyler's high chair, but the plan was cancelled coz we couldn't wait to shop at that very minute :P It was Great Singapore Sale anyway. It really amaze me how cheap are baby hings sold in Spore. Imagine this... I've always use this bottle nipple brush from Pigeon, selling in Parkson cost RM 20.90 for 1 pc. So all the the I have to carefully use it coz no matter how delicate I use it, it wont last me longer than 1 month. Then in Spore, it was only selling at SGD $ 3.90. Well, even after conversion, I could buy 2.5 pcs with my money spen on 1 in Ringgit. Guess what? I bought all of it from 1 store (which was about 5 left on the shelf) hahahahha

Talking about buying suff, in Kuching I've searched high and low for good quality tweezers, I used to buy from Watson's in Kuching, however, starting this year onwards, I could find any!! even in Guardian or pharmacies, I even asked friends and cousin who traveled to KL to help me find, but to no avail. In S'pore there are plentiful! I bought like 6 or 7 pcs and it's much cheaper compared to M'sia. In M'sia its selling for like RM20 plus each, in S'pore only SGD $6.50. So tell me, why wouldn't I buy more, right?

Tyler here trying his first ice-cream, but he doesn't seem to like it, maybe it's too cold for him. He's been such a sweetie and he was able to drink his milk either indoor or taxi. But when we're back in Kuching, he'd now prefer drinking in the car.

We went to The Sands, on our 2nd day, early in morning at 8.30am coz we've got no where to go so early, plus shopping centres don't open till 11am.

Luckily Tyler was sleeping... when you're in a Casino, you would wanna visit the CASINO itself too right? So Tyler and I were waiting for hubby to please his curiosity towards the Sands Casino for 30 mins. hahahhahah When he came back, it's my turn!! I went in, looked around and it looked just normal, I don't have the "wow" effect. So, I tried my luck since I have about 15 mins before my time is up. I placed my bet on the roulette table and at the end of 15 mins, I won about SGD 150.00 yeayyy more shopping money for me!! It's an experience though.

We both bought Crocs shoes, it's not that cheap, but at least it has the latest designs that it'll probably take a decade to reach East Malaysia :P

Tyler got himself a pair of shoe + socks. It's something I've never seen, it's a socks with an attached sole to it. Since it's unique, I bought ti for him and he got this theory rather quickly. "one must bite new shoes in order for it not to bite us back" hahahahah there he is chewing his new shoe socks.

Brought him to Toys'r'Us...

Some of the time, he would allow daddy to carry him in the carrier but not on the stroller. That indeed helped a lot for my arms. When i was shopping for myself, I cant even try on the clothes, so I just grab any that I think is nice.

Overall, it was fun yet tiring to bring a baby along. However I don't think I could leave my child alone when I'm out traveling :)

Daddy's & Mummy's Project

Recently I was walking in The Spring mall and I came across kids painting on a piece of metal, out of curiosity, I asked them what was it for and the lady said it's DIY window sticker. That caught my interest straight and got myself a set of the colors, sticker and metal.

First, you'd need to transfer the outline of the picture onto a metal piece, and start coloring... that's the fun part...

After that, you'd need to leave it in the oven for a minute, then put in cold water and just peel it and stick on any glass surface.

So, i've stick my project on the glass window in my office...

Donald duck and Mickey & Minnie...

Don't know what cartoon character this is....

So, Daddy's project is sticking wall stickers... and now my room looks like a nursery :)

Oh yes, a little update on my 7 and half month old baby Tyler, he used to drink only in car rides, and the car mustn't stop while he's drinking or else he'd cry and stop drinking, but how on earth can we not stop the car at the traffic lights, right? Luckily at 7 and the half month. He developed a liking for drinking only at outdoor, his criteria must have; trees and wind blowing. Well, this is not that difficult to meet, isnt it? The routine is now, to my in-laws' house (coz there's a swing and he loves it so much) in the morning before going to work, and the rest of the day feeding would be in front of our office. Phewwww at least it's much easier now, or daddy would need to drive at feeding time at every 3 hrs :)
