Baby Boss Takes Over When Big Boss Is Away :)

Tyler has just signed out from work and joining mummy n daddy for dinner. He was quite well behaved when he sat on his own chair for like 20 mins, till he started to cry... dat's when his good merits fade away... hiakss just 20 mins... The pic below still posing for me before he starts crying...

Since Tyler has been a good boy to perform his work in the office, he's rewarded with Barney, "I love u, you love me, we are happy family, with a great big hug from me to u, don't u say you love me too" =)

Then he was given his very first bread stick to distract him from interrupting mummy's and daddy's dinner at Hilton =P

This is the first time, something he bites can melt and dissolve with his saliva, well, his interest in his bread stick have very short life span... till the food arrived, he started to cry... so, what else can I say? He's the lil boss, isn't he?

Even being in the bath tub, he continue acting like a lil boss, as if he's in the spa. He's able to lie on the tub and hang on with his hands from being slipped into the tub. But I'd never keep my eyes away from him even for a second. At least now he enjoys his bath very much and loves splashing in my kitchen. Well, then again, it's better than crying all the time while having a bath, rather than having a wet kitchen.

Tyler at week 19

This week, I managed to watch him turn from his tummy to back, yeayy. However, he can turn really fast when he's angry and he wouldn't turn when I'm playing with him. I'm also trying to make him sit in his own car seat in the car as he always wanted me to carry him and it can be really exhausting, the only time I can rest my arms are in the car, if we are outside, I'd have to carry him. Normally he will cry when I put him in his seat, but I need to be firm even though when he cry really loud. I do hope that he'll get used to sitting in his own seat soon, so I can start driving him around. :)




He likes to smile to my new red camera coz his favourite color is red, so hubby bought the right camera for us. When he hold his head up like that, he will smile and laugh till he catches your attenttion.

Whenever he follow us to dinner that passes his bed time, he'll sleep on his mummy's flabby tummy like a bike, or I shall call it the kura-kura style.

When I'm busy at work, he'll talk to his friend, Leap - The ABC froggie. Leap teaches Tyler ABC eevryday, when Tyler gets angry with Leap for singing the same boring song everyday, he'll just kick him aside, wahahahah

This is his poo poo face, and he loves doing his big business in shopping centres or any new restaurants. Sadly, this was taken in Pullman Hotel, the newest 5 star hotel in Kuching, only to find that there was no nappy changing room! So, hubby and I just went into the Orang Cacat toilet and clean Tyler.

First Semi Solid food

This week I tried to let Tyler taste a lil bit of some solid food - Baby Brown Rice from Nestle. This is just about 1 table spoon, but he only took like 3 mini baby spoon, but it's ok, this is mainly just for him to taste. My main intention is to try feeding him by spoon.

Then he saw daddy with a red camera, he pose for a pic! His very first semi solid food.

After the third spoon, he refuse to have anymore, it's normal I think since this is absolutely something new to him. But lately, I mix just 1 baby scoop into his night feeding and he loves it so much!

Taken in Hijau, he was crying the whole morning, but when he sees the red camera, he will smile no matter what.

Oh yes, we finally had the time to open an account for Tyler, his very own savings, I wonder how much will he accumulate when he reaches 18 years old? His first Yippie account and he was given 2 piggy bank, not actually piggy bank, but a tiger at the ATM.

Tyler at 4 months

This post will be a lil update of my baby, Tyler who have turned 4 months on the 21st Feb 2010. Everyday I see him, he's sure to be learning new things everyday and he is growing up so fast, I wonder how long will I be able to just hold him in my arms.

He had his first official hair cut on the 24th Feb 2010, and it was done by CC in Kenyalang Park. Initially we never planned to have his hair cut, but that day we went to Kenyalang Park and met my mom in law getting her hair done there and thought of suprising her with Tyler. Then we decided to just give him a trim, it wasnt an easy job to cut his hair when he's screaming half way through, and the hair dresser need to cut it really fast ( i think it's only less than 10 mins) and the hair cut cost RM 10.00. We didnt manage to take a photo coz I didn't bring my handbag, so sadly there wont be a pic of him having his first hair cut. After his hair cut, he looked more mature, more boyish and, well, more ganster as well. He lost all his sweet look... which I miss deeply.

This week he learnt that he has a tounge in his mouth, many times when he's sucking his fingers, he will have about 6 to 8 fingers all squeeze into his mouth and start touching his own tounge, sometimes, out of curiousity, he pulls his tounge and cries out loud after that. funny what baby can do ya? Now he loves being his this position, being on his tummy and holding his head up. He is able to stay in this position for a very long time, and he will try to turn over as well, many times, when I'm not watching, he is successful to turn but when I'm waiting and watching that 'almost-turn', it never happen :(

He has also develop a liking to use his tounge a lot, he likes licking everything that's within his reach, for example, my arms... his bib and anyone's clothes when he's being held. Another interesting fact about Tyler, he loves going to the coffee shop in the morning, especially when the coffee shop is packed with people, he loves looking at them and sometimes, he even like to called out on them. He shouts or yell when no one is paying him any attention in the coffee shop or calling out to strangers....

how long more will i get to see a face like this? once he grows up, all the funny and cute stuff will be gone.... so till then, I'll need to stop for now. byeeeee

CNY 2010

This year's CNY 2010 is the very first Chinese New Year for Tyler, therefore the picture above explained well enough which animal year 2010 is. Yup, it's Tyler the Tigerrrr, except he cries more than he roar during the CNY. Hubby and I only celebrated CNY in our parents' houses, well we cant say we dont celebrate CNY, so we just tell people that we do not 'open-house' this year. Plus, I totally do not have time to prepare anything for CNY this year, no baking cakes or cookies and without those, I totally dont have CNY mood either. This year, CNy falls on the 14th Febuary 2010 and its also Valentine's Day, therefore, totally no Valentine's Day mood either. So what mood do I have? I only have mood for Tyler, hahahahah

Oh yes, hubby got me a Sony Cybershot DSC-TX7 digital camera for my V-day & Bday gift. Why need to share a gift for 2 occasions ho? anyway, it's ok, its understandable that the expenses for us now is rather tight sometimes :) This is the first "up-to-date" high-tech gadget I ever owned and I very happy to be the new owner of this camera. Well, at first hubby lied to me saying that he got me another ring! and I wasnt at all pleased coz I have way too many rings from him, from colored stones to diamonds n boy was I happy to see the camera. For those who knows me, I'm not a gadget person... so I'm happy for once to own a gadget and a hot red one! :)

Tyler will turn 4 months on the 21st Feb 2010, he can start to grab things with his fingers, but not for a very long time. He can touch my face and squeeze my nose, heheheh. He loves taking his bath now, Thank God, if not, my neighbours will start thinking that I'm an abusive mother. Tyler collected a handsome amount of angpow for a 3 month old, even hubby and I did not reach that amount when we were younger. Kids nowadays are way more fortunate, dont u think so?

This red Chinese suit is given by his grandma bought from Singapore, and Tyler is the spotlight in our families this year. Perhaps this is the reason he's a bit cranky when people try to carry him.

We brought him for his monthly jab yesterday and he didn't cry a single bit, he acted like nothing happen at all, so I guess he has very thick skin. Even the most painful jab, he only cried for like 3 seconds and stopped. So most of the time if he cry at home is because he's just spoilt or bored :)

He just woke up, so I cant stay here for long. I'll blog again soon, byeeee

Tyler Ong Jun Wei

I'll be blogging mostly about my baby now, since I hope to remember every single thing about him, such as first smile, first turn over, first word and every "first" I wish to store it somewhere and I thought of might as well post in this blog, where the cyber space can help me store my memory. As I get older, my memory seems to deteriorate as well, sad isnt? at such young age.

I do also hope to teach him whatever I can, that is why I insist on taking care of him myself. So far, for the past 3 months, after my confinement, I've been doing everything myself, with the help of my hubby of course. I'd attend to Tyler's needs' whereas hubby will need to do some house chores. Well, we dont have a maid, therefore we do not have the luxury of relaxing on the couch or bed everytime we reach home from work. I bring Tyler to work with me as well, in that way, I'll still be able to take care of him, while working (for the sake of money, I'd need to work too =P ) hahaha not exactly true too, if I were to stay at home, I'd be bored to death too.

Tyler had his first smile at 10 days, it's really a smile, perhaps he doesnt even know that what he did was a smile;

and he can even put his tongue out;

He dislike taking bath from the very first bath where he cried so so loud that it was so heart breaking. From that day onwards, he cries at every bath, he acted like we're abusing him each time he needs a bath. However, after my confinement, I started to bath him at the kitchen sink, so I don't need to squat down on the floor and carry him up (maybe he's scared to be handled that way) and he eventually cry less. He still cry sometimes, but not as bad anymore.

When he was about 2 weeks old, he cried alot and he has colic, we are lucky that he doesnt cry for hours, he cried for about half an hour to one hour at most evening. Doc says his colic is better now at 3 months, plus we kinda understood what he needs at each cry. He cries for attention, hunger, boredom, pain n etc. This baby of mine sometimes love bullying people as well. For example: yesterday I couldnt bring him to work with me cause my in laws are traveling, so only hubby and I are in charge of the whole factory, so I had to ask mom to baby sit him for the day. He can be nice while playing with him, but he refused to sleep on the bed and mom had to carry him the whole day. Isnt he such a bully? Poor mom...

I'm blogging in my room in the office and he's sleeping soundly on his own bed. He woke up very early this morning at 6.30 am as we had to drag him with us to work today. I'm very very lucky that he's a good baby at night. usually after we reach home from work around 7 plus in the evening, I'd change him to sleeping attire and just put him in his bed and he'll go to bed by himself most of the time.

He can chew his hands now and he doesnt like his pacifier anymore, he loves sucking his thumb! I hope it wont turn into a habit when he grows up.
